What game systems can you play-by-post? Well, if it’s an RPG (role playing game) then more than likely it can be, and is being, played play-by-post. And as I’ve said in the last blog post (Ok, So What is Play-By-Post) if you find that your favorite RPG isn’t being played, nothing is stopping you from starting it up. There will be no shortage of people willing and ready to play. As the saying goes, “Build it, and they will come.”
Here is a look at a few play-by-post sites and the games currently being played on them:
Tavern Keeper
D&D 5e, Pathfinder, The One Ring, Dungeon World, Fate, Scream: The Horror, TOR, Masks, Shadowrun, Monster of the Week, Liminal, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Warbirds, Apocalypse World, Open Quest, Battlestar Galatica, Vampire: The Masquerade, Age of Pirates, Tiny D6, White Wolf, and Index Card RPG (being run by yours truly).
Myth Weavers
D&D, GURPS, Star Wars, Vampire: The Masquerade, Mutants and Masterminds, Savage Worlds, Fate, Eclipse Phase, Blades in the Dark, Pathfinder, Dungeon World, Cyberpunk, Powered by the Apocalypse, World Without Numbers, Pokemon Tabletop Adventures, Dark Heresy, D20 Future, Rogue Trader, and Hero.

As you can see, there are many RPG systems and games being played on play-by-post sites. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. With dozens of play-by-post sites out there, and multitudes of RPG systems to boot, the possibilities for game play are virtually endless.
In the next blog post, we’ll talk more about all the different sites where you can play play-by-post games. Until then, happy gaming and may your dice roll high!
I find this site to be very informative about wat sites I can play on. It has led me to rolegate and I have started playing a couple of ICRPG games and I’m loving it so far.
